REDSEC

Every Step Forward Costs You.

🏆 1st Place — Community Choice and 2nd Overall at Pirate Software Game Jam 19, from 51 entries — with top-three finishes for Playability and Game Design. Built in two weeks.

You are UNIT-07 — a frame the Red Sector Corporation wrote, ran once, and kept. REDSEC is a PS1-style isometric mech roguelite set inside a corporate simulation that writes itself in front of you and deletes itself behind you. Fight through arena waves where every attack is telegraphed before it lands, boost-jump the gaps where the floor used to be, bank scrap, and pay your way through the breach doors to go deeper.

Progress has a price tag. The door costs scrap, crossing it scrambles one of your stats and most of your savings, and the heavy weapons leave permanent holes in the floor you are standing on. You never really get richer here — you just pick what to lose next. Death is not the fail state either: the hardware you paid for survives, so every spent run buys the next one. Written in JavaScript; models made and textured in Blender; all music and sound made in Ableton Live.
